the Trainer tailored the session to our organisation and help us understand what we could be improving on.
Christopher - Department of Training & Workforce Dev.
Course - BPMN 2.0 Fundamentals and Workshop
Kevin was an amazing trainer that moved through the agenda (curriculum) items at a great pace and he had a very engaging demeanour and presentation style. He allowed both Chris and I to consume the topic he was educating at our own learning paces and allowed us to brainstorm openly hence hearing our thought patterns. Where we needed certain topics to be explained more he succinctly described those items and allowed us to fully grasp the concept too. The layout of the agenda/training was great too as it stepped through the topics logically by building base knowledge on BPMN 2.0 Models and then further expanded the training to more distinct learning items. The scenarios were all logical with complexity, hence, the ability for us to actually formulate good models and where we were incorrect in our modelling, the explanation by Kevin related to our mistakes was easy to follow. Kevin's knowledge on BPMN is obviously second to none, hence, having training conducted by such a subject matter expert was refreshing.

Design Patterns
14 HoursThere are plenty of tried and tested patterns widely available to everyone. Sometimes it is a matter of changing the names and implementing the pattern in a specific technology. It can save hundreds of hours, which otherwise would be spent on design and testing. Training Goals This course has two goals: first, it allows you to reuse widely-known patterns, second, it allows you to create and reuse patterns specific to your organization. It helps you to estimate how patterns can reduce costs, systematize the design process and generate a code framework based on your patterns. Audience Software designers, business analysts, project managers, programmers and developers as well as operational managers and software division managers. Course Style The course focuses on use cases and their relationship with a specific pattern. Most of the examples are explained in UML and in simple Java examples (the language can change if the course is booked as a closed course). It guides you through the sources of the patterns as well as showing you how to catalogue and describe patterns which can be reused across your organization.
